It is mighty cold outside! 🥶 

Sub-zero temperatures have me clutching the hot water bottle.

Despite the cold, it is getting lighter and before you know it spring will be just around the corner!

There is plenty to be excited about in January from winter light displays in Canary Wharf and Battersea to great New Year deals.

Grab yourself a coffee for £1 on the 20th if you are near Shoreditch at Temple Coffee or get a Pizza for £5 at Franca Manca (Offer for whole month of Jan) at all locations except Stratford.

The Great Smog of London was a lethal smog that covered the city of London for five days, from December 5 to December 9, 1952.

It was caused by a combination of industrial pollution and high-pressure weather conditions.

With visibility dropping to as little as one foot, buses, trains, and cars were immobilized. People had to walk along roads holding hands to avoid losing their way.
