“The Silvertown Tunnel is finally open, offering Londoners a new way to sit in traffic…now with a toll!”

The Silvertown Tunnel, a 1.4km road tunnel beneath the Thames, opened on April 7, 2025, aiming to reduce congestion through the Blackwall Tunnel. Both tunnels are now tolled between 6:00 and 22:00.
