Hello Londoners,

It’s Valentine’s Week. Is Valentine’s Day overrated?

Absolutely, but whether you're single or loved up, there are still some exciting events happening in London.

From a lantern festival in Paddington to Valentines at the Natural History Museum, we have you covered.

Participate in running research with RunDot and get two free months of run training

It is an annual research initiative that uses optimized run training to help runners reach their true potential.

Why should you join?

RunDot athletes improve their running abilities, on average, 3.2x more than non-users, and experience performance improvements in 30% less training time.

Qualified participants also receive 2 free months of run training.

Do you qualify?

You are a good fit if you check these boxes:

  • You train with a GPS-enabled device

  • You have not used RunDot or TriDot in the last 12 months

  • You are not a professional runner

  • You are enthusiastic and motivated to accomplish your running goals

Do you meet these criteria?

London Shower Thoughts

The London Bookshop Crawl encourages us to visit multiple bookstores in a day—proof that in the digital age, the smell of paper still has a magnetic pull.

What's Interesting/wicked/spotlight?

Hidden secretly away among the flowers lies a rooftop garden and kitchen at Southbank.

Nestled on top of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Roof Garden is a haven, home to over 200 wild native plants, a luscious lawn, views across London and the Roof Garden Bar & Kitchen.

Perfect for spring and summer with friends or a partner.

Moment in Time

Trafalgar square during the 1950s:

  • Trafalgar Square had become overrun with pigeons by the 1950s, as feeding them was a common tourist activity.

  • Vendors sold bags of birdseed, and visitors, including celebrities and royals, were often photographed covered in pigeons.

  • It wasn’t until the late 20th century that feeding them was discouraged to control their numbers.
